Advanced MicroLabs is presently working toward commercialization of measurement solutions in environmental monitoring and water impurity monitoring in power plants.   A key differentiator is AML's ability to make on-line measurements at single part-per-billion [ppb] levels.

In the prior decade AML did significant work in developing assays for target compounds of interest in the clinical diagnostics sector.  Speeding and simplifying many measurements (such as in a doctor’s office rather than sending measurements to a offsite lab) has selective appeal.

AML's microchip capillary electrophoresis technology also has applications in the food and beverage industry and the bio-fuels sector.  These segments are now being served by CarboAnalytics who licenses AML technology.
