APPLICATIONS FOR ADVANCED MICROLABS TECHNOLOGY Advanced MicroLabs technology provides a low cost approach to fast multi-analyte measurements and thus will be of value to those markets where these benefits have tangible value. Advanced MicroLabs is presently working toward commercialization of measurement solutions in environmental monitoring and water impurity monitoring in power plants. A key differentiator is AML's ability to make on-line measurements at single part-per-billion [ppb] levels. AML has also done significant work in developing assays for target compounds of interest in the clinical diagnostics sector. Speeding and simplifying many measurements (such as in a doctor’s office rather than sending measurements to a offsite lab) has selective appeal. AML's microchip capillary electrophoresis technology also has applications in the food and beverage industry and the bio-fuels sector.
